David Lane graduated from the jazz studies program at St. Francis Xavier University before completing a Music Education degree at Memorial University in St. John's Newfoundland. David began his Master's degree in Rural Planning and Development at the University of Guelph after working as a teacher for three years in an Inuit village on the northern coast of Quebec. He has been involved with many music outreach activities and has organized many events including charity fundraisers and sporting events. David is currently living in Guelph researching educational practices in rural developing communitie
