Tomasz was born in Lublin, Poland and has lived in Vancouver since 1989. He is currently a PhD candidate in the English Department at UBC working on The Megaphone of Destiny: the Production of the Popular Voice in Twentieth Century Literature and Culture from Gertrude Stein to Frank Zappa.
